Roger Riordan: Miscellaneous photos 1961

These photos were taken around Melbourne in about 1960, though I don't know the exact dates. Most are just views, but there is one of Kings Street Bridge under construction, and also one of the bridge at Punt Road from the Morshead overpass during the construction of the South Eastern Freeway. It is impossible to duplicate this photo today, as pedestrians are not allowed on the Freeway.

The photos are interesting as they show the city as it was before the tremendous amount of construction which has taken place in the last 50 years.
